About Me

So you want to know more about me eh… Let see, where do I start? Oh, let’s begin by me telling you a story….

Long time ago there was this nerdy shy Chinese from Malaysia went on a college transfer program to USA in the field of Computer Science. At first it was just an attempt of knowledge seeking in a country where computer and technology advance faster than the rest of the world. Who know one thing lead to another, that nerdy Chinese was absorb by the American culture, landed on a white collar job, picked up the twisted yet sometime cruel American sense of humor.

This Chinese likes to eat, in attempt to satisfy his appetite without breaking the bank, he picked up cooking, and later baking. No doubt he has some sort of eating disorder, he eats when he’s happy, he eats when he’s sad, and he eats when he’s bored. Overtime he get a bit lazy to bake all the time just to have some free time fun, so he decided to buy a used organ… no, not the kidney lung or others kind of organ, it’s actually call Electone by Yamaha, which is an electric organ. He played Electone when he was young, so owning an Electone now helps keep him saint and entertain without flipping a cookbook, breaking an egg or lick a spatula.
Years later, he pretty much started a new life in the foreign land, and recently decided to make a journal of himself after his mid-life crisis….

Hi! I really enjoyed reading your blog, especially your musical background page. It’s great to know that you are still interested in the art even 12 years later. Your cakes are beautiful as well. I’m glad that you are able to have a job that you love.

    Tama,
Thanks for the kind word! Somehow I have these desire to learn and maintain as much lost art as possible, whether it’s cooking or music. However, I do have to remind myself to go back to them from time to time as I have so many hobbies!

    Hello!

In regard to the wok burner post, how are you liking it? The burner has mixed reviews on Amazon, and I just want to see how you like the burner. You posted about the Alpha propane burner and I am curious as to your thoughts and views.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear from you soon!

    Abe

Hi Abe, the burner is great, I don’t use it on a daily basis though so I have no idea its durability. I still have it and use it once in a while. It’s adequate for home use, not too hot nor too weak. I would say it’s a good burner for at least two serving and up to 6 serving cooking. For that price (less than $50 when I bought it), it’s good. Also, it actually about 55,000 BTU, not 30,000 like said in the post.

You may want to place a copyright notice on your website. Someone posted one of your sausage pics on FB and I was able to do a Google image search to find your page.
