About the trip:
I found out about the trip from my cake instructor. Since I couldn't find anyone
to go with me, I decided to go by my own, on my birthday! I left Kansas City
about 6:30 am, and got to Tulsa slightly before 10 am, thanks to my GPS and
only made one stop. After checked into the hotel, my jorney to the convention
began.
It's my first cake convention, which is in a state fair. It's also my first state fair, so I had the opportunity to try out a lot of stuffs. Just to give you an idea, I had my first:
I didn't have the chance to try fried candy bar, but after a sinful weekend of eating high calories food, I could care less to miss that and save it for next year. Yes, I'm going back for next year's convention!

What did I do?
I stayed for all the demonstrations so I didn't really go out and observe all
the cakes. However, I took photos of almost all the cakes that I'm very impressed
with, and will study them later. Throughout the convention, I only have a
couple minutes to stop by supply vendors and eat, here are some of the food
stands I bought my food from:

|| Large || |
| I had turkey leg for dinner from this stand | I had funnel cakes for lunch from this stand. | I had pop corn chicken. I didn't have time to try their fried Milky-way! |
I didn't stay for the closing and award ceremony, therefore I don't know who win the competition. I had to leave for Kansas City right before the award ceremony since I need to work the next day, and I was dead tired. So I decided to leave around 5:15 pm and try to arrive in Kansas City before 10:30 pm. Once I have more info about the result of the competition, I will update them.
